Terms of Sale

These terms apply when you buy a book direct on this website. Please read them before you order. They do not affect your legal rights.

1. Who sells the books

Books on this site are sold by Leah's publisher:

Leah signs every copy herself and posts it to you.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds and include postage to a UK address. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added. You pay by card on a secure page run by Stripe when you place your order; we never see your card details.

A discount code is taken off before you pay. One code can be used on an order, and codes cannot be exchanged for money.

3. Delivery

We post to UK addresses only. Your book is usually posted within 3 working days of your order, and we email you when it is on its way.

• Signed and dedicated copies go by Royal Mail 2nd Class, not tracked, which usually takes 2 to 3 working days.
• Gift boxes go by Royal Mail Tracked 48, and we email you the tracking number.

If your order has not arrived 10 working days after we posted it, please email us and we will send another copy or refund you.

4. Dedications

Leah writes the dedication as you type it, so please check the name and message before you pay. Once it is written, it cannot be changed.

5. Changing your mind

You can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it. Email us to say so, then post the book back to us within 14 days, in the condition you received it. We refund you, including the cost of posting it to you, within 14 days of getting it back. You pay for posting it back to us.

This does not apply to a dedicated copy, because it is made just for you; you can still cancel a dedicated order before Leah has written the dedication, by emailing us straight away.

6. If something is wrong

If your book arrives damaged, or has a fault such as missing or misprinted pages, please email us within 30 days of receiving it, with a photo if you can. We will replace it or refund you, whichever you prefer, and you will not pay any postage. This includes dedicated copies.

7. Your details

How we use the details you give us when you order is explained in our privacy policy.

8. Questions and complaints

Please email author@lcwilkinson.com, quoting your order number (it starts LCW-). We reply within 3 working days.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
